Kathyrn "Kat" Rodriguez (Derechos Humanos) with readings by Walker Smith |
In a time of unprecedented anti-immigrant and racist rhetoric in mainstream society, the call for compassion and understanding could not be more important. Anti-immigrant legislation, white supremacist organizations, and the deaths of thousands of men, women and children demands for a comprehensive analysis of realities seen today on the U.S.-Mexico border. We will explore the role of U.S. immigration and border policy in the current situation, our responsibilities to our migrant sisters and brothers, and the critical dialogue that must take place for meaningful change to take place.
