On November 21st, our UUCT Social Justice Council, in partnership with Tucson's MASS LIBERATION PROJECT, will present speaker Marvin Mutch, who became a prison reform activist after spending 41 years in San Quentin wrongly convicted on circumstantial evidence and continually maintaining his innocence in parole hearings. He is the co-founder of the Men's Advisory Council, a prisoner advocacy group first established inside San Quentin to represent the collective needs and grievances of California's prisoners, a hospice volunteer and BrothersKeeper co-founder. He will speak from personal experience about prison reform and his life as a prisoner. In Holland Sanctuary, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Refreshments provided.
