"When Tranquil Streams Meet and Merge"
Worship Lead: Rev. Bethany Russell-Lowe
Worship Associate: Celeste Rogers

A service reflecting on the May 1961 consolidation of the Unitarians and Universalists to becoming the Unitarian Universalist Association. What about that process is relevant today? How might we, individually and collectively, engage with the work of the Article II Study Commission which is reviewing our Principles and Purposes?

Heart Space: Stillness
May 12 | 6:30pm-7:30pm | zoom

If you’ve always intended to attend evening worship, this is your last chance until September! In this dynamic, all-ages worship, we will experiment and play with different ways to be in a reverent community together. While we are still online, we’ll listen to music, listen to words, explore, and experiment. Rev. Matthew will join us for some creative play as he leads us in Laughter Yoga.
The room opens at 6:15pm for some social time and a heart-felt worship to follow at 6:30pm.

MORE Highlights of the TEXnewMEX TUUR October 8-16, 2022

DID YOU KNOW…
The TEXnewMEX TUUR is a FUNdraiser for UUCT? How much is raised for the church depends, of course, on how many people actually go on the trip. Our last TUUR raised almost $8,000 with a full group. We need 8 more participants to have a full group.
Registration closes June 1. Carolyn Saunders will be at church this Sunday with more information about the trip. You may also contact Julia Mehrer at This email address is being protected from spambots. This trip encompasses art, culture, nature, history, the paranormal AND FUN all rolled into one exciting TUUR. Won’t you join us?

Social Justice

FAIR ELECTIONS INITIATIVE: A new citizen’s initiative is aimed at stopping these laws, but we must get enough signatures in just over three months. There will be someone on the patio after church each Sunday with this important petition as well as the other petitions aligned with our UU principals. Contact Margo Newhouse This email address is being protected from spambots. Grown Ups Games IRL (In Real Life)
May 21 | 4:00-6:00pm | UUCT at 4831 E. 22nd Ave

Who says that game play ends when you're an adult? Not us! This game day is geared to those ages 12+ who want to play a variety of table-top games. Bring your favorite and come teach it to us.

Kids younger than 12 are more than welcome to attend, but we don't have child care for this day, but we do have access to the playground.

We will stop for a break when we get peckish to order a pizza (vegetarian option available, but no gluten free). Bring a side to share!

Beginning of Summer Celebration
May 21 | 6:00-8:00pm | UUCT at 4831 E. 22nd Ave

Who is ready for summer? We are! Bring your picnic dinner and any games you want to play. When it gets dark, we'll light up the fire pit and toast some marshmallows! It might even get dark enough for a game of Glow Tag. Who knows what else we'll think to do!

Parenting of Preschoolers (POPS) –Grown Ups Meet Up
May 28 | 1-2pm | Zoom

This monthly group is designed for those adults raising children who are ages birth to 6, but everyone is welcome. This is an amazing group of adults that come together to talk about topics relevant to our daily lives. We offer support, words of wisdom, and connect to those around us. We hope that you join and share with us.
