In Tucson, summer has begun. The University of Arizona have their last official classes for the academic year today, and finals begin next week. TUSD, and other local school districts are winding down. And, it will not be long before we see our first 100 degree day.
What does this mean for us at UUCT? Well things slow down a little bit around here as well. Instead of three emails a week, there will only be two. Social Justice, Religious Educational Opportunities, Worship, and Connections in Community will all be included, BUT, there will be a limit on the amount of text permitted, as there has been in the past. This will be the last week that publications over the limit will be accepted.
Here are the Publication guidelines for email submissions for the summer:
Email announcements are:
· Due no later than 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
· Brief, no more than 125 words please. Providing links for more information is helpful.
· Time sensitive, occurring within the next month unless it is a “Save the Date” event such as the church auction, or the TUUR.
· Reminders (not the first time info has been shared about upcoming events)
The publishers reserve the right to establish priorities during a busy news week.
