Participate in the Virtual Christmas Pageant
This year we can't hold our regular Christmas Pageant chaos night, but we don't want to miss all the fun! The pageant will be prerecorded, we'll all be able to live stream it on Christmas Eve and watch together.
BUT! You can still participate! There are two ways:
1. Record a line to be included in the Multitude of Angels. In real life, we have a beautiful gaggle of sparkly folks as our angels. This year, you ALL get to be angels. Simply record the line below using a voice app or video app.
Peace on earth and goodwill to all!
Then, submit it to me by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or on this google drive:https://tinyurl.com/y3qkt75u**We will NOT see any faces for this video, and it will be posted to YouTube on the UUCT public channel. We are only playing their voices because our actors are...
2. Bring your stuffies to be our actors!Yes, you read that right. Our stuffie friends are going to be our actors. We are using a kind of storytelling that we have done before in Baja 4 worship. The basic concept is that we record our voices and then put images “over” them so we hear our voices and see the photos. An example is Warrior Goddess:https://youtu.be/V2_nsvrRXFY
If you want your stuffie friend to star in the show, drop them off at UUCT onSaturday, Dec. 5 between 9am and 3pm. We want to be sure we "check in" your stuffie so we're sure the right stuffie goes home with the right family! We will need your actor for a week to take their photo (a lot) so be sure not to bring us a stuffie you can't sleep without. Then, you can pick them up on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9am to 3pm or by appointment.
3. Pick up your Christmas Eve candle and submit a picture of yourself holding it!UUCT has a candle and wax drip protector with your name on it! Drop by UUCT on Saturday, December 5th or 12th between 9am and 3pm to pick up your Christmas Eve candle (and a special holiday surprise!). Then, take a picture of yourself/your family holding your candle(s) and submit to Rev. Bethany before December 15th. Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. How to Give to the Church
You are asked to use our credit card service (which can be reached by the link or the On-line Giving button on our website), the very easy to use Text-to-Give (1-833-361-5796),or checkssent to the office. The on-line giving gives you the option to identify the contribution and use the memo line for checks. A tutorial video on Text-to-Give is here. After setting up an initial “profile” these options are easy to use for subsequent donations.
A Gentle Reminder from your Board of Trustees and the office staff:
For your safety, and the safety of everyone else, please review the b0ard policies regarding gatherings at the church:
Please remember to wear a layered mask that covers your nose and mouth when you are on campus.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Angel Heart Pajama Project distributes new pajamas and books to share love and caring to children in foster care, shelters or who are homeless. Often children are removed from the home and have no possessions so receiving a pair of new pajamas and a new book is like a warm hug. Social Justice is supporting this organization with a one-time new pajama drive as the number of needy children has increased greatly. Drop off new pajamas for children ages 2-12 at UUCT on Tuesdays 8-8:45AM, when picking up your Thanksgiving dinner, or during Poinsettia pickup on Dec 4 & 5th 10-11:00AM Thank you for supporting our Tucson children in their time of need. Our monthly hard boiled egg drive for feeding the hungry at Casa Maria is coming up! A volunteer will be at church next Tuesday, November 24th from 8am till 9am to receive your hard boiled eggs. Please hard boil your eggs the day before, write HB on each egg in pencil, and place them back in the cartons. Write HARD BOILED on a piece of tape and place that on the carton. DO NOT PEEL THE EGGS. The eggs will then be transported to Casa Maria.
We are also collecting good, gently used, clean clothing, suitable for the homeless.

The folder is available to everyone! You'll find activities that take 5 minutes and one that take 5 days, so you're in control of how much time you spend on RE.
