Stewardship Update
Thank you all those that made pledges of financial support for the church year 2020-2021. We raised $275,282. That is $18, 861 more than last year. Hurrah for us!
We had 148 pledging units (a pledging unit is a couple or single), a gain of 5 from last year. Hurrah for us!
Some of you when we phoned said you would pledge on line. Please do that NOW so we can set the budget accordingly. Your pledge could help buy toilet paper or more music for the choir.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Stewardship effort; speakers, envelope addressers, pledge card gatherers, telephoners, and the stewardship team.
Deb Collinge and Margot Garcia

Current Pledges and Donations
Please continue to pay your pledges or donate as you regularly would to the church, either online or by mailing your checks in. Even though the church office is closed, our Congregational Administrator Mary Wiese, is in the office several days a week and continues to check the mail and make bank deposits. Thank you!

Small Group Ministry for Trans + Non-binary UUs
We are opening up space on the UUJAZ Zoom channel, once a month, for a small group ministry (covenant group) facilitated by a trans+ UU minister. We'd welcome trans+ and/or non-binary UUs from across the state, to let UUJAZ know if they are interested in participating. Together we'll choose a day and time that works best for everyone. There are six more spots available, and we are looking to start in April.

SPRING EQUINOX RITUAL INFORMATION

In this time of social distancing, we know it is important to continue our traditions without gathering together physically. SoSouthern Arizona CUUPS will be celebrating the Spring Equinox online this year. Druid David Foster will be leading our ritual via Zoom on Thursday, March 19.

In order to join us, you’ll need to download the Zoom app to your device and set up an account. You can then join our meeting by inputting our Meeting ID: 823 936 4868.

The room will open at 6:15pm Arizona time and the ritual will start at 6:30pm. We will use the chat function to greet each other and to ask any questions.

Here are some things you can do to prepare for the ritual –

Set up a candle and lighter or matches to light your own chalice.

Gather items to make offerings to the Ancestors, Nature Spirits, and Gods and Goddesses. You might want toast using a favorite beverage, have a treat for your pet, and have a bowl available for other offerings. David will show us how to make these offerings.

We will have an online way for you to make a monetary offering to the church, if you are able to help support us in that way.

We hope you will join us as we turn the Wheel of the Year. It will be good to be together.

--Connect & Celebrate--
The Southern Arizona Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans chapter connects UUs and Pagans of many different faiths in an inclusive, welcoming, interfaith space. We celebrate our Earth-based faith traditions in harmony with our UU principles.
