- “Cheers for all who packed 600 snack bags!“.
Sunday, Nov. 12th — we’ll have a shorter worship service and then we’ll all work. Half worship and half work – workship! We’ll be packing snack bags for immigrants to take with them as they travel to join their sponsors. This will be for The Inn of Southern Arizona — which partners with Casa Alitas — and provides hospitality to as many as 300 people each day. Our goal will be 600 packs and we’ll work in teams of 5 or 6 to get the job done. If you want a sit-down job, you can be a box or bag opener or a bag folder and crate packer. We can do all this work while we laugh and talk.
