Our Guest Speaker today is Janine Gelsinger — from UUJAZ: Unitarian Universalist Justice Arizona
- UUJAZ is a State Action Network,
- which means their role is
- to support UUs and congregations across our entire state
- to take action for social change.

- Janine has served as the executive director for four years,
- and in 2023 moved into a shared leadership role,
- alongside Director of Finance + Operations Casey Clowes,
- and Director of Communications + Development, Analise Ortiz.

Janine also serves the greater UU movement as…
- a co-host of the VUU [pronounced view]
- the weekly UU talk show and podcast,
- as a curriculum writer for Beloved Conversations
- the UU anti-racism program,
- and on the steering team
- for the Religious Professionals Joint Code of Ethics.
She lives in Phoenix, with her two young children: Vivienne and Ramona.
