August 6 online — or in person in Goddard Fellowship Hall
“Siblings, Cousins, Friends – the Unitarians in Germany”
Worship Lead: Rev. Friederike “Rica” Kaufel
- For this coming Sunday, August 6 — Rev Rica Kaufel will be our guest minister.
- Rev. Rica was born and raised in Berlin
- then came to the US for her undergraduate studies.
- She remained here to become ordained as a UU minister.
- She worked with a congregation in Anaheim, CA
- until her love for her hometown drew her back to Berlin
- where she was thrilled to discover a Unitarian community (for whom she now ministers).
- She is eager to tell us about her life in Germany
- and the similarities and differences she has found between Universalists in Germany and UU’s in the US.
- Rev. Rica was born and raised in Berlin
**For part of Sunday’s service, Rev Rica will offer us a Q&A, “Ask a German.”
- If this opportunity interests you — please think of a question you would like to pose to her.
- When you come to church on Sunday — the ushers will collect your questions and she’ll respond to as many as time allows.
