On June 19th, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Texas to tell over 250,000 enslaved people in the state that they were free.

Join us to celebrate Juneteenth, with spoken word and music, featuring poet, author, minister, and UUJAZ board member, Rev. Anthony Johnson.

This is a fundraiser to support Unitarian Universalist Justice Arizona (UUJAZ)’s work — to mobilize UUs for social justice across Arizona.

All are invited.
