Justice. Joy. Liberation.
This program offered by Hanna Coy is geared toward people ages 13+ as an introduction to water preservation in the Tucson area. Let’s explore how Justice, Joy, and Liberation help us combat Climate change, Disease epidemics, Ecosystem collapse, and Contaminated land and water.
These problems (and more) are dire environmental issues, but we can’t solve them without understanding the way racism, classism, and other human rights injustices shape our understanding. We can be strong together, but we have to learn how to build solidarity!
Join this Environmental Justice Workshop to learn more. We’ll explore the environmental effects of systemic race and class biases, representation and visibility in “the outdoors”, and why it’s so important to think of these things as related.
